St Charles Vinnies Night Patrol |

 Our parish has a regular Sunday evening where people volunteer their time to feed the homeless and those less fortunate in Sydney through the St Vincent de Paul Night Patrol.
On Sunday 17thApril 2011, an opportunity was provided for young people in the parish to help out on the Vinnies Van.
As a group, they purchased all the food that would be required and then spent time making up the many sandwiches which they then distributed at various stops around Sydney.

Catholic Youth Services (CYS) Extreme Camp |

The Catholic Youth Services (CYS) camp was held at the Benedict XI Retreat Centre in Grose vale from April 11th – April 13th 2011.
It was a great experience as we got to know ourselves better and got to meet people from all over Sydney. Over the 3 days we had a range of activities all run by a group of volunteers from the Sydney NET team providing everything we had. The volunteers were from all over Australia and were all very friendly and helped make the camp so much fun.

Review of Stations of the Cross 2011 |

Stations of the Cross at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Ryde on Good Friday exceeded even last years amazingly high standard for this solemn reflection.
The music, the re-enactment and the sincerity of all of the participants as well as the entire congregation created a holy, reverent and rare opportunity for focusing on the ultimate sacrifice made by our Lord in his final days prior to rising from the dead on Easter Sunday.

Youth Masses are generally held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of each month at 6pm.
The Mass is organised by youth for youth.

 St. Charles actively encourages the participation of youth within the Parish. Youth are already strongly engaged in Lenten programmes, St Vinnies Night Patrol, Readers at Mass and Music Ministries.
New members are always welcome to contribute.
Youth Group is for people in school year 9 to 12 and is centred around social interaction, faith formation and liturgical education.
Those interested in participation or leadership roles are welcome.
