On the morning of Wednesday 21^st of April 2010, Sydney awoke to be shrouded in a thick fog, so heavy that early Rivercat trips along the Parramatta River were cancelled.

Luckily by 8:30am when the Young at Heart group had assembled at their meeting spot on the western side of the parish campus, the weather had turned into a glorious Autumn Day.

Whilst waiting for our bus, members were delighted to be able to be comfortably seated on the seats especially provided for their use. The cement platform and path are a wonderful addition to the grounds for the comfort and safety of our seniors.

A scenic drive to Bobbin Head for morning tea, followed by a longer trek to Berowra Waters through bushland suburbs, was much appreciated. Arriving  back at St Charles by 4:00pm all thirty one agreed that it had been another great day out with the Young at Heart.
