Altar

 

The Altar Society is a multi-task ministry of men and women who perform many of the behind-the-scenes tasks associated with the Mass. They maintain the Altar, Holy Water fonts and candles and undertake general cleaning duties inside the Church and Sacristy.

 

The society works on an eight-week roster, with everyone giving about an hour of their time – usually on either Friday or Saturday mornings. Wherever possible, consideration is given to rostering members with friends.
