The St Charles Kindergarten children, their families along with new families to the school/parish from St Charles Ryde and Putney Primary Schools were our special guests at the 10:00am Mass on Sunday 14^th February 2010.

It was a full house as we gathered with friends to hear God’s Word and share the Eucharistic meal. Many St Charles Primary teachers were present, and the children’s choir enhanced our celebration.

Fr Paul invited all the children to come to the front of the church as he used his homily to speak specifically to them to help them understand the ‘Sermon on the Mount’ gospel just proclaimed.

After Communion, the Kindergarten children led us in prayer though a song with actions which spoke of how much God loves us. After Mass we all enjoyed a sausage sizzle and connected with friends old and new. It was a great way to meet one another and pray for the year ahead for our parish and school communities.
