St Charles Borromeo Parish Ryde has been contributing to church and civic life for more than 150 years. It has been central to the lives of so many during this time and we are indebted to our forebears for their faith, vision, courage and generosity.
Inspired by them, we seek to build a vibrant, inclusive and welcoming Parish for future generations.
There are many challenges in developing a modern Parish. Adequate revenue is one of them.
The cost of maintaining our beautiful church and cemetery, the presbytery and grounds, school and hall, as well as the faith formation programmes, sacramental preparation, etc continue to rise.
Fewer active clergy and religious means that skilled labour is more expensive as administrative costs soar, combined with falling attendance at Sunday Masses places further stresses on revenues.
As a result, we need ways to supplement traditional sources of income - Bequests being one of those ways.
Bequests can be large or small; the bulk of an estate or a small part - every bit helps!
Please feel free to download our Bequest Form and consider whether you would like to contribute to our Parish in this way. Any contribution would be gratefully received and acknowledged
This is an initiative of the St Charles Borromeo Parish Finance Committee.
